The Next Chapter Alumni Lunch was a gathering with purpose. We came together to grow as a connected network, learn from each other, and to continue our professional development.

We shared how cybernetics is being applied in practice and welcomed the graduating cohort into our growing professional community – one day before their own graduation ceremony.

Our day was hosted brilliantly by Cybernetics alumna Dr Lorenn Ruster, who guided us through introductions, activities, and many wonderful short speeches and presentations.

We were lucky enough to be joined not only by our alumni and members from our school, but also by our new college Dean Aaron Quigley – who gave our alumni a warm official welcome to the College of Systems and Society alumni community.

The alumni luncheon was a chance to pause, reconnect and reflect on the many paths our alumni are forging across disciplines and sectors. We are deeply proud of this community and of the thoughtful, meaningful work our alumni continue to contribute in their own communities.
