Kelsy is the Engagement and Impact Officer at the ANU School of Cybernetics.
As a creative ever since she was young, it was a seamless transition for her to complete a double bachelor’s degree in graphic design and communication in advertising. She has been a graphic designer for 5 years, with her first venture being into the printing industry where she saw and understood what it takes to turn a design on a computer into a finished printed product. Kelsy has also worked at a water utility, where she used her skills in design and marketing to communicate complex scientific concepts and translating them into easy-to-understand content for their audience in campaigns such as Free The Poo.
In her current role at the school, Kelsy plans to expand her skillset by utilising her learned marketing skills to communicate the idea of cybernetics and broaden the community’s understanding of it.
In her off-time Kelsy is trying to digitally paint every day to build a daily habit and better her skills with her tablet. She also enjoys playing video and board games, cooking, baking, taking walks and consuming mystery books and movies.
