Evan Skinner is a PhD candidate at the ANU School of Cybernetics. His academic focus spans a large variety of fields, including creative arts, engineering and communications. Professionally, he has experience in sectors such as insurance management and drone technology, which has given him a grounded understanding of complex systems.

In research, Evan aims to address pressing societal, environmental and governance challenges. He is currently using principles from cybernetics and systems science, to integrate strategies for developing purposeful systems at scale.

As an audio-visual artist and music producer, Evan applies his diverse background to design and develop projects, that inform and aim for meaningful change. His work focuses on creating solutions that go beyond theoretical discussions, with the intent of fostering a more equitable, sustainable and hopeful future.
