Ellen is the Engagement and Impact Officer at the School of Cybernetics. She graduated from the University of Canberra with a Master degree in Strategic Communication and has performed comms roles in social enterprise and NGOs prior to joining ANU. She has extensive experience with multimedia content creation and social media engagement. She also has an engineering background, working for the largest mobile service provider CMCC in China before relocating to Australia. She takes pride in simplifying complex procedures and finding solutions to solve problems and achieve her goals.

Ellen is fascinated with history and culture and loves hearing stories of all kinds. She enjoys travelling and spending time with local people to fully explore their lifestyle. Outside of work, you will find her exploring hiking trails around Canberra and a regular at tennis courts.
