Eddie is the Learning Experiences Convenor at the School of Cybernetics.
Eddie is a science communicator and experienced facilitator who is leading the delivery of the School’s suite of Learning Experiences.
Her work enables learners from diverse sectors to understand, adopt, and apply cybernetic tools and concepts in their own settings to make meaningful change.
She joined the School of Cybernetics in 2024 after ten years in the public sector delivering science and technology engagement programs across Australia.
Eddie’s undergrade studies comprised an eclectic mix of ecology, evolution, linguistics and history and philosophy of science. She dabbled in research at the intersection of life history theory, ageing and sexual selection, before going on to study a Master of Science Communication at the ANU. Along the way, she helped to discover two new species of peacock spider (nicknamed Sparklemuffin and Skeletorus).
Eddie is excited to collaborate around creating interactive and embodied learning experiences and designing programs for impact.
