Leadership scientist. Management consultant. Amateur philosopher.#

Aiden joined the school in 2024 as the inaugural Menzies Senior Research Fellow in Leadership and Complexity. The fellowship has been set up as part of a collaboration between the School of Cybernetics and the Menzies Foundation. Cybernetic Leadership.

As a leadership scientist, Aiden holds an interdisciplinary PhD in leadership, complexity, and cognition from The University of Western Australia. At the school, he applies principles of cybernetics, systems theories, and complexity theories to understand the emergence of leadership in organisational, social, technological, and environmental contexts.

Aiden has over 25 years of international experience across Australia, Asia, Europe working with top-tier management consulting firms and a variety of blue-chip organisations. He currently leads his own consulting practice that focuses on leader(ship) development, complexity, and organisational development.

Aiden’s side interest in philosophy falls in two main fields of enquiry — theory of truth, and the ethics of belief.
