Vivienne is the Program Manager at the School of Cybernetics.

After studying Environmental Science and Education at the University of Melbourne, Vivienne spent time teaching in small schools in rural NSW and in environmental field studies centres. She has also worked in education delivery, facilitation and management at State Forests of NSW, NSW Agriculture and CSIRO.

Vivienne has worked for more than a decade at the ANU in a number of Colleges, Schools and in cross disciplinary programs at the Crawford School of Public Policy, the Fenner School of Society & Environment, the Australian & New Zealand School of Government, Schools of Music, Art & Design and the College of Health & Medicine where she managed four of the ANU Grand Challenges – Our Health in Our Hands, Australian Social Cohesion: Exploring New Directions, Indigenous Health & Wellbeing and Humanising Machine Intelligence.

When not at work, Vivienne enjoys Vespa touring with her husband and plans to ‘do a lap’ of Australia in the not too distant future #MidLifeVespas. Through many years of renovation, she has skills in building, tiling, painting, landscaping and gardening. She has her own industrial sewing machine that she uses for sewing canvas, including awnings and bags. She also likes to knit, crochet and make chocolate truffles.
