Psychologist. Dataventurer. Tech-explorer.#

Felicity is a psychologist and now a cyberneticist fascinated by the relationships we have with technology. When she joined 3Ai for the Masters had spent many years as a psychologist. She has been involved in developing a range of technological systems from nuclear medicine test recommenders to creating an AI chat- system for health.

Felicity has a PhD in Psychology and has developed experimental genetic tests. And if that isn’t extraordinary enough, she has competed in the southern hemispheres longest white water kayaking race, held a qualification in cave diving and has rock-climbed routes across the globe.

Felicity’s creativity and capacity for critical thought was on display during the Masters including imagining an Amazon Alexa and Google Home debating the nature of the mind and embodied cognition.

Felicity aims to be involved in deconstructing, designing, building and managing autonomous and artificially intelligent systems, ranging from cyborgs to smart cities or even satellites. She aims for her work to ensure we establish safe, sustainable and ethical systems which step us closer to a world that we would all want to live in.
