Placemaker. Optimist. Grower.#

Sherice is the Engagement and Impact Lead at the ANU School of Cybernetics.

In her current role, Sherice is working with technology partners and industry collaborators who are challenged with finding ways to navigate modern complexity across leadership, generative AI, complex systems, and how to steer towards a safe and sustainable approach to their futures.

She particularly enjoys the challenges of re-imagining a traditional education sector and finding new markets for more informal style learning experiences.

Sherice has 16 years of experience in real estate across retail, industrial, and commercial sectors. Passionate about placemaking, she has led award-winning customer engagement strategies.

She holds a Business Administration degree in Marketing.

Over the last decade she established flexible work solutions, added value by incorporating tech enabled third spaces including concierge, hospitality and wellness spaces, built up a trusted and active engagement program where she pioneered the Customer Experience (CX) capability in the commercial property sector and developed strategic and influential local partnerships. Sherice has a commitment to authentic placemaking and ESG centred engagement with a deep belief in the power of people, connection and community.

Sherice had trouble describing herself in 3 short words so she would also like to share the full list that didn’t make the final cut: Resourceful. Nurturer. Curious. Community centred. Marketer. Foodie. Authentic. Water lover. Intuitive. Conversationalist. Thimble collector. Adventurer. Mother. Wife. Cook. Ocean swimmer. Tennis lover. People person. Cavoodle mum.

Areas of Expertise: Marketing Strategy and Communications, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Advertising, Sponsorship, Engagement, Impact Metrics, Partnerships, Placemaking, Team Leadership, Business Planning, Budgeting, Event Management, Customer Experience, Community Engagement, ESG, Flexible Work & Third Spaces, AI & Technology Integration.
