Sarah joined the School of Cybernetics as part of a partnership with the French public agency Expertise France.
Her goal is to foster discussions and collaboration between Australian & French AI stakeholders, as well as to create bridges between the academic & policy worlds. She is particularly interested in AI governance, policy, & ethics.
Sarah uses cybernetics to broaden global discussions about AI systems.
She has international experience in academic cooperation and public policy settings. She previously worked with French foreign services, cooperation agencies, international organisations and higher education institutions in Europe, Asia and Africa.
She graduated from Sciences Po with a Master in International Affairs and a Bachelor in European and Asian Studies. She also holds a Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a graduate degree in AI Law & Ethics from Artois University.
Sarah loves to travel and has had the chance to live in 6 countries on 3 continents. Her exploring of the world doesn’t stop on land and she’s recently taken up scuba diving!
