July is Innovation Month, a time for cross-agency collaboration, innovation, and challenge – this year with the theme of ‘Risk.Resolve.Results’.
Here at ANU we got involved through hosting two compelling events on campus that sparked fresh ideas for attendees. These two events explored the intersections of AI, creativity, and Public Sector Transformation.

From public service professionals to creative and cultural practitioners to industry partners, and members of the ANU community, these events invited all participants to a hands-on dialogue, where participants connected and co-designed the future (s) together.

If you weren’t able to join us on the day, don’t worry! We’ve brought these events to you: see below for a quick summary and video recording of each session.
The first of these events was hosted by the ANU NSC Futures Hub and AI CoLab, titled From red tape to algorithm: Reimagining the public service in an AI age.

The second of these events was a collaboration between ANU Cybernetics and AI CoLab, a session titled Art(ificial) futures: AI, creativity & public imagination.
